Not to pour salt in your wounds but bringing up your private beliefs with any manner of bureaucrat, whether a white coat as in this case or any other flavour they come in, is generally not a good idea unless you plan to use a mainstream one to garner sympathy or positive discrimination for your benefit.
Anyway, spilt milk aside, do you think you could get another medic to handle your case?
